I am in the process of organising the site visit and a visit to a Montessori kindy. If all goes well this should happen, as scheduled in your Master Schedule, between Wed and Fri (23-25 Aug.) So pls be prepared to attend. Any serious problems about those dates please post now.
Site is on Jalan Gasing. Kindy may also be nearby depending on which one gives us permission. It may be a one full day thingy, or 2 half days. Will keep you posted so please watch this space.

I have been asked if we could postpone the visits till after the term break. I'm afraid that can't be done as we'd be far behind the rest of the year and a little out of sync.
The best I can do (as I am still in the process of negotiating with a few kindies) is to choose a day which is most suitable for the most number.
To allow those outstation to have as much time back home as possible I can try to conduct the break program within ONE day, and that will probably mean Friday 25 Aug 2006. However everything actually hinges on when the kindy (or kindies) can allow us to visit.

Yes it's the sch hols and there won't be any classes, but on that account it may be easier for the kindies to allow us a visit. Don't want to scare the kids with 18 giants decending on them! one of the headmistresses told me.
It's more important to get the headmistress' or teacher's full attention with our questions than to have them distracted by the needs of the kids.
And we might do 2 case study visits, one on and one off hols.
The site visit is equally important and both were scheduled by Miss Kwok for the semester break. We're varying it a little. Mustn't be too far behind the other groups with our case study submissions.
Anybody knows when the other two groups are doing their study visits and site visits?
I hope you guys are reading up on the background and application of the Montessori system.
I've just found out that we can't do any site or case study visit during your Semester Break. (Ok happylah outstation people.)
Tentatively I'm planning the bridging program and site visit for Monday afternoon 28 Aug, and the kindy visit for Wednesday following. But things might change depending on permissions awaited.
Tell me, do you guys have any mornings free for visits? (Most kindies are in session in the mornings.)
The 4 guys who are giving talks pls email me outblog so we don't spoil the fun for the others. (I have been in touch with Ka Hoe so far, and Khai Ling who hasn't replied to me.) And all please note that your turn to give talks will come--when I sense that you have encountered some kind of breakthrough which will interest everyone.

i know ms kwok's group had their site visit on saturday(12/8) and monday(14/8).
site visit in the morning..if after holiday,dont think everyone can make it coz some will have 3dmax on monday morning and some will have on wednesday morning.If during holiday,sure no problem for me.hehe..
